4 weeks post m/c today..

I have had bloods taken at 2 weeks, 2 weeks and 2 days, and 4 days ago - numbers were 104, 91 and 19 respectively.

I have been having negative pg tests (internet dipping ones) since Tuesday, Clearblue digital said negative on Monday.

However, today, I did an internet one and saw a light line within 3 minutes and a clearblue digital today that says Pregnant 1-2 weeks.

I thought clearblue measure from 25hcg so should be negative? I have posted about this before - there is a very small chance this could be a new pregnancy, but is it? Or is it not? Do you think the EPU will take another blood test for me? They basically said go away another two weeks last Monday and if positive come back. But surely the digital test is quite indicative??

How many (not that it matters really) negative tests have you had? If you were neg on Mon and Tues with diff tests, and said tests say pos today... then it looks like you might be preggo again, unless there is a reason the HCG could be rising again... but I can't think why if it has been steadily falling thus far why this would happen...

Hello! I saw your link to this thread on the other one. I'm sorry about your miscarraige. I too think it unlikely the hcg numbers would go up for any reason other than a pregnancy, so tentatively it might be a new pregnancy.

I'd say the clinic should definitely take your bloods again for you, bearing in mind you have just suffered a loss, and you need the reassurance one way or another. I'd just explain that you can't emotionally do a two week wait for another test and need to know now. Hopefuly they will be helpful. Good luck!

Hi everyone, I got my period today - very very light but negative tests today. So I don't know what happened, it could be an early miscarriage, but either way I went back on the pill today as that's what my partner and I decided to do when we miscarried a month ago. I'm so sad, but we need to move on. :( Try again in September possibly.
