A question about ovulation and opks

i read this: The female body produces something called luteinizing hormone (LH.) It is present in the urine almost all the time, but increases significantly-- surges-- about 12-36 hours before ovulation.

Now. Does that mean that when you get a positive opk, you are not yet ovulating?

I'm using the Clearblue opks. Just got a positive. Do I still have a chance if with SWI today and tomorrow?

Does the smiley face disappear when you are actually ovulating as the LH surge has gone?

I have only used the cheapo internet OPKs but as I understand it when you get a positive with them then it means you are going to ovulate in the next 12 to 48 hours.
Really once you get a positive you should go at it like knives.

WSS!! Basically indicates a surge in hormones!

I conceived successfully using a Clearblue Fertility Monitor ( basically daily OPK's) after TTC for some time! Lots of luck
