I got a strong positive yesterday, with a faint line the day before and today so I definitely had my surge yesterday am. I was just wondering how many days we should BD for to have a good chance this month. I'm concerned DH will feel used!!

3 days to be safe! I know that sounds excessive but I got a positive OPk and then a temp shift 3 days later. If you are very stressed remember this can delay ovulation, so if you really want to be sure, keep going for as long as you can!

(dont tell DH any of this, just act like you cant keep your hands off himGrin)

Mummyabroad: did that then result in a pregnancy?

MummyAbroad · 28/09/2010 19:40

No, sorry I cant speak from that much authority! I know that I ovulated through taking my temps, checking CM had gone and cervix became closed and lower. If I had gone on the OPK info alone, I would have thought that I ovulated 3 days earlier than I really did.

Ok. Yes, the instructions with the opks do state that you will ovulate between 12-48 hours following the positive. So you did well to pinpoint that it was actually 72 hours after the positive. Very good mummyabroad. I'm going to be charting using ff in conjunction with opks from thismonth onwards to gain a better insight.:-)
