Yorkshire House Swap

We have a lovely house in West/North Yorkshire and would love to go to Scotland or Wales or anywhere really-

We need 5/6 bedrooms and have 6-8 bedrooms to offer

Our house is in an affluent town - has plenty of restaurants including one widely acclaimed as one of Mr Ramseys favourites

Marco Pierre -White started out working at a restaurant here which is still widely acclaimed although he has moved on. The current 'waiter of the year' 2008 works at the said restaurant!!

Our town was a victorian spa town has beautiful moorland and river.Plenty to do for children and adults alike. A theatre and victorian lido compliment the natural beauty of the town as do the summer continental fair and autumn literature festival.

Bronte country is nearby as are Leeds and Harrogate

The town has the reputation of being the 'second most expensive place to live outside london' which although annoying - means it is quite nice!

The house is big and I would welcome more than one family at once - sort of re unions or joint family holidays.

Any offers considered! Feel free to quiz me further no obligation of course!

Hello, we could be interested, depending on when you would like to swap. Ours is an 8 bed house near the Somerset coast. We don't live there but holiday let it usually. It's been refurbished within the last 6 months. Let me know what time of year you are thinking.

Hi - it's a long shot, but I'm from ilkley and go back every 6 months or so to visit family, we have a 2 bed house in Greenwich so I guess a house-swap is out of the question but I wondered if you'd consider letting it to us while you're away?! Thanks very much

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
