Yes, dd1 (3.5 at time) had about three spots, plus two under the hair line. She was quite grumpy and her behaviour went down, but not too unwell. Three weeks later, dd2 (6 months at time) got chickenpox and was covered.
yes my DD2 had about 3 spots at the same time as DD1 with full blown chicken pox. She was never off colour and the spots followed the usual CP process of blister, drying up etc. She has been around plenty of children with chicken pox since and never picked it up so guessing she is now immune. Lucky thing! Poor DD1 had a really rough time with nasty itchy spots everywhere.
I think I am correct in saying that they regualarly vaccinate kids against chicken pox in the USA. After seeing how ill DD1 was with it and knowing that it can affect adults quite seriously, am suprised they dont offer it here
