Ds1 was sick twice yesterday and again in the night and also has a temperature.I'm alternating Capol and Neurofen which seems to be working but he's hungry and hasn't eaten since last night.
I've tried doing him some toast with a small scraping of butter and some chicken but he's complaining they taste horrible and won't eat them.
He's asking for yoghurts, milk, cheese and banana's but I'm not too sure what to give him especially as I've heard dairy isn't a good idea.
Any suggestions please?

It sounds like you are offering the right things. I think bananas would be OK too. Dairy is not meant to be good when you are recovering from a tummy bug, but my dc always beg for it. Usually I give in smile

I personlly would be led by him (how old is he btw?)

Kids are usually pretty good at knowing what they need when they are ill IME

I would probably leave out milk as a drink though

Def. no dairy, it'll make him worse. Banana good, how about heating up a banana inthe microwave & spreading it on toast? That's the convalescence food Chez Mumble

Thanks.
He's 3.I gave in and he's had 2 yoghurts and a biscuit today.I did also give him a banana but he had a couple of bites and then said that also tasted funny.Hot banana on toast sounds lovely but he's exceptionally fussy and I know he wouldn't eat it,although he likes both things seperately.
He has perked up a bit too,so I'm hoping it goes as quickly as it came and so far he hasn't been sick todaysmile.

Porridge or Ready Brek made with water not milk. It'll line the stomach and is gentle to eat.

Bananas raise the temperature, so best avoided for a day or so post high temp.

BRATTY

bananas
rice
applesauce
toast
tea
yoghurt

for some reason that I can't remember, yoghurt isn't like milk or cheese and is fine to give during a sickness bug

Sympathies, the whole family had it here a while ago and it was just horrible.
