I totally misread the instructions and misunderstood what a tablet was.

Poor child spent a day on the toilet... just as term started

blush sad

I didn't want this post to go unanswered.
Try not to beat yourself up about it.

I once gave my 2 year old son adult Benilyn instead of child Benilyn and felt terrible. But when i got to work I told a girl there who used to be a paediatric nurse and she said that they often give stronger medecines to kids in hopsital than are available over the counter. For example, when my DS who was 9 months old went for a scan, he was hyperventillating afterwards, they gave him 8ml of Calpol to calm him down! I was apalled but the nurse said it was the right amount for his weight.

So I guess what I'm going the long way round in saying, that they often give kids higher doses of medecine in hospital so I don't think you should beat yourself up about this, and chalk it up to experience. Oh and give him enough fluids to replace what he's lost.

Em, you poor thing! We have all mucked up like this at some point. Seriously smile

Please don't beat yourself up about it. It's not going to have done any permanent damage for a start.

You didn't mean anything by it and it's easy to get mixed up with medicines.

You are a Very Good Mother from everything I have ever read by you on here.

Hope he is all back to normal soon.
