I'm trying to get DD1 to make healthy choices when it comes to snacks. Frankly she doesn't listen to a word I say and I must be honest that I'm not very good at this stuff either. However sometimes if we read books together I can start a conversation.
Anyone know a good book about healthy food and why it's better/ how it works on the body? She's 4 so a lift the flappy thing might be good. I'm not really looking for a recipe book.
Thanks in advance!

Maybe not quite what you're looking for, but do you know Herb The Vegetarian Dragon? Mine loved it at that age (still do, actually).
There's a Herb child-friendly recipie book, too, if you want to make a few veggie things.
Sorry, I'm aware that you're not asking for specifically veggie suggestions, but it's the only one I can think of.

Actually DH and I are vegetarian, so that's a great suggestion thanks!

I hope it's still in print, it was published by Barefoot Books.
"Oliver's Vegetables"
The charlie and Lola one - something like "I absolutely will never eat tomatoes"
Both great for 4 yrs.
