Ok...so not, strictly Antonia Forest, obviously, as she died some years ago. BUT....Girls Gone By Publishers have published a new Marlow book called Spring Term by Sally Hayward and can I HUGELY recommend it? I've just read it, and for all you Marlow fans out there it is well worth a read. It is tremendously authentically written- faithful to Antonia Forest's language and style and continues the story from 'Attic Term'. I won't give any spoilers away - but just to say that if you wanted to know what happened to Ginty/Patrick/Nicola following on from the last Antonia Forest (where too many questions were left unanswered) then get hold of a copy of this book. I really, really enjoyed it.
I have it! I was so excited. It is really excellent and almost indistinguishable in style from the others. I have them all now including Falconers Lure and The Marlows and the Traitor.
I really enjoyed it too! Great 'voice', and the plot works very well.

Another recommendation here! Sally Hayward has caught AF's voice wonderfully - I hope she writes more.
