DD1 was ten days late I was induced with DD2 at 7 days late because my waters had gone but she still showed no signs of wanting to make an appearance.

ds1 was 5 days late (though started making his presence felt about two day searlier), and ds2 was a day early, so you might be lucky.

Mine were;

2weeks o/d
2weeks early
2weeks o/d

I think most people follow suit, some don't - I know that is not at all helpful sorry grin

Here's hoping. Know that it happens when it happens but sick of being pg!

Two sections, one at 42 wks with first after failed induction at 41+5. Number 2 showed no signs of arriving so they did section at 41 wks - jumpy consultant. This baby is booked in to be delivered at 38+6 (18th Dec) - i suspect if left would be as retisent as the last two to arrive. Think each pg can be very diff - friends have all varied from being early with first to late with number 2 and the other way round, so no real guarentees. Hope things go well for you either way!

DD1- 8days over
DD2- 2days early
DS- 8days over
I wasn't that sure of my dates but was told each time that the scans are very accurate and that most hospitals/MWs decide the EDD on the scan results. I would imagine you will get mixed responses as far as experiences go, I don't personally believe that there are any factors that influence when it happens... they come out when they are good and ready. ( although no.2 may have come early as I was up a ladder cutting hedges the day before!!)

hedges could do with a trim....

OOps, perhaps I shouldn't have said that, DON'T do anything silly! I got told off lots and lots ( mainly because my weight pushed the ladder feet into the lawn)
Good luck, hope you get to drink lots of Christmas Champagne ( OMG I'm not very good at sensible advice!!!)

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
