Curious really, we think I had the show this morning but I'm only 30 weeks so wondering how long it took for everyone else?
7hrs, 9 hrs
Both emcs, but fully dilated both times.

I think you should seek medical advice if you are only 30 weeks. I think births are usually within a couple of weeks of the show. For me it was between 2 and 8 days with mine
A week, I would seek advice though to be on the safe side.
Can you describe it, and don't worry about tmi we are all used to it!

DD1 - had no show before birth
DD2 - had no show before birth
At 30 weeks I really would get yourself checked out ASAP - steroids may need to be given to your little one.
Good luck

It looked like EWCM mostly, about the size of a 50p coin and there was some brown discharge with it.
Called the labour ward earlier and they didn't seem too concerned, will talk to my midwife as well though.
With dd1, about 30 mins (had my waters burst). With the twins my show was a month after i had them
. I also had a cs and i didnt bleed AT ALL untill 4 weeks after they were born (was on their due date too)
Show at 9am Monday.
Active labour from midnight Monday
Baby born 11am Tuesday

Ps
From what I've read I believe you can lose the mucus plug quite early, then it can reform

Show Monday, dd1 born sat. Show previous evening ds born late next afternoon. Dd2 after sweep, show that night born next morning. Hth.
About 7 weeks as you describe but the loads more the day before!
I lost mine at 30 weeks, had emergency section at 31+1. I would def call labour ward so they can check you out.

Two days with both of mine
I am surprised the labour ward are being so dismissive, if it continues for a couple of days i'm sure they/someone will see you to check everything is okay and give you peace of mind
With DS2 I had been spotting all weekend and needed to go somewhere on the Monday but wanted to check everything was okay before I left for this place. The labour ward checked me out and said it would be a good few days yet til DS comes along...he was born that night!
