Rehoming advice needed

Hi, I am a longtime lurker on this thread and have had hens for over 4 years now. Due to my worsening health problems, we (as in DH and I) have realised that I can't struggle on for much longer and due to location of hens (allotment), we need to find them a new home sad

I just wondered if anyone here has any suggestions about the best place to advertise the hens for rehoming or if there is anyone in the Bristol area looking for 3 lovely girls?

Sorry to hear about our health problems. Have you tried your local vets? Or British Hen Welfare Trust might be able to recommend best way to advertise. If you have a hen house for sale, you could maybe advertise that with the hens? We aren't near Bristol I'm afraid.

Thanks, our vets doesn't "do" chickens so haven't thought of advertising there. There is a local animal feeds store that I am going to advertise at. I will look at BHWT.... Was going to put hen house & run (walk-in affair) on eBay so can't advertise the hens there...

Bump for any evening mumsnetters xx
