Car seats

Two Way Elite, Hi Way II or Maxway width measurements?

Hi

I haven't got anywhere local to go see/fit these seats, can anyone tell me the width measurements of them as I have to fit 3 seats in the car. The crucial area for the measurement will be where the fit against the seat back I suppose.

Thanks!

Ive been told the hi-way is the narrowest but I think it's a lot smaller than the twe. Ring in car safety, they will measure and tell you :)

Have just been out to measure our two way; the upper padded part (where DS' feet go, I mean) is 46cm where it meets the seatback. Can't really get down and measure the base as I'd have to detach the seat and the lovely lady in Milton Keynes fitted it so nicely, I'd hate to shift it!

I can tell you that we have a Ford Focus, and between the two way and DD's booster seat, there is no way you could fit 3 seats across the back like this. You can just about squeeze in a skinny adult who doesn't breathe much.

And while I've got my tape measure out! ...the way we have it at the minute, there is 60cm between the furthest-back part of the passenger seat, and the back of the back seat. This is the dimension we were interested in when buying, because we were having legroom issues for the passenger when they had a Recaro Polaric behind them.

That distance is adjustable, because the two-way leans on the back of the passenger seat. So to recline DS's seat, the passenger needs to scoot their seat forwards. Which is a bit weird, I hadn't realised it was going to work that way. But it seems to be OK.

Hi thanks for the measurements. Especially the one where the twe meets the seatback as that's quite crucial. I currently have a babysafe plus, an adventure and kiddy infinity pro in the back of a focus (this was a lot more possible than I would have imagined, the space is quite adequate) The infinity pro is 47cm so technically a twe could replace this but it would of course depend on positioning. I did contact in car safety, they were really helpful but didn't have the specific info. Plus we will be changing the car, the 3 door thing is killing me right now. Plus that would not be ideal with the TWE and how it interacts with the front seats. Thanks for all your help!
