Have never been, but having looked at your links we are almost certainly going this weekend!

We need to buy a new tent, plus it looks like a good day out for the children.

Thank you Smile

that's what I thought - we'll be there this weekend too (weather permitting) so can compare reports afterwards Smile

Middle farm is one of those places we're always driving past en route to somewhere else and saying "oh we must go there one day!". I wonder if I can persuade dh to go at the weekend? Trouble is we have just spent all our money on replacing our poor deceased car and I'm bound to see loads of stuff I want (and be Envyat all the tents that are better than ours).

On the other hand, the new car has more room for all those little camping 'extras' Wink.

Got back a couple of hours ago and decided the Hartford which we had planned on buying wasn't for us (didn't like the bedrooms) but have 99% decided on the Montana 4.

Apart from that, Middle Farm is a good place for a day out with children - as long as you take a picnic, the cafe wasn't too good imo.

But it was really good to see the tents up. The staff at GE sports who ran the camping bit were pretty helful. Last day tomorrow!

we went today too. I was interested in seeing a Campus Breckenridge but they didn't have those. I really liked the hartford actually, it felt a bit like a spaceship which I loved, and the skylights are fab

after all the talk on here I was prepared to swoon over the montana but didn't really like the layout as much in the flesh. So completely opposite reaction to Mercy

think I am a sucker for the radiating pod bedrooms

now I really want a hartford, but they are a bit pricey for me

enjoyed the farm, best for smaller kids though I'd say (luckily I had a few in tow). the sausages from the farm butchers (Blush when DD1 asked casually later "where DO sausages come from mummy?") were very tasty too
