Only got back yesterday, will read everyone elses whitsun posts (of which I rpesume there are some ) later, but here is what happened....

Hadn't seen tent up Blush but had good reviews and seen diagrams- no good at visulising from that though. Put it up- and OMG- 's IDENTICA to the Vango Diablo 6!!!! I mean, how lucky is that? It was last years colourway (which I prefer- dark green with orange trim) and it didn't have this years porch windows. Wowee. We are so Grin with our purchase- cost £190 including P&P brand new.

So, anyone looking- Gelert Tahoma. Fab tent.

Break was excellent- Hollands Park very clean, friendly. Kids had plenty of playmates, facillities all good (showers, loos, free hair dryers, launderette, washing up) and clean. And ridiculously cheap, at under £90 for five nights ofr the family.

Weather was good too- there was a wet day but we had hot footed it over to Bournemouth where it was sunny as anything.

All in all, an excellent break. Got back to find I have been offered a 'job' (3 hours a week) as mntor at the Uni. which will be good for both CV and Christmas fund. Also found the ants had eaten a nest under the skrting (dust everywhere), but sorted that with ant poison.

I went to Hollands park last year and it was a great place to camp. How did you get on with the wildlife??

No donkeys, might have been a bit busy for them.
