Hello we are considering buying a caravan(2nd hand) but were wondering if anyone has any advice on where to buy one from on a very tight budget? Also does anyone have any suggestions where to keep it in the south? Many thanks :-)
Hi RubyCharlie! We bought our caravan about 6 years ago. It was built in 1993 and absolutely immaculate. We spotted it in our local newspaper but I do think if I were looking now I would look on ebay. We paid £1995 for a 4 berth, end bathroom Ace Harmony with full awning and it has been and still is brilliant. I tow it down to the South of France every year for 5 weeks and we love it!
I can't help with where to store yours as we are 'up North'! We pay £350 a year to store ours if that helps. Good Luck

We got ours on eBay. Damp will be the main thing to consider on a second hand van. We paid around £1800 for one that was 20 years old but it is in very good nick. It's usually on the drive but is in storage at the moment because we are moving. We paid around £300 for 3 months storage(Essex).

Thank you very much both of you for your help
We have an old Swift Challenger, 5 birth. Paid £1500. It is dry. No damp. Tis fab. Bought it from neighbour, and see a few in local papers. Searched on e-bay, but just so happened that our one came up.
We pay £200 to store ours, over the winter, at our caravan site nr Blandford in Dorset.
We paid £200 for our first one, which was exactly thrte same as our latest, and it had an awning and everyhting.
What is your budget OP? What kind do you want, where are you, and when do you need it by?
Give us the deatils. You know Mn'ers are FAB at these searches and that kind of thing
