Christmas is gone and my thoughts keep straying to camping. I love that everyone is discussing pegs and stuff again, was so quiet before Christmas.
My questions are:
1) does frozen white/pink wine bags taste ok when defrosted?
2) why cant DP care about tent decor and if it looks nice?
3) can we have a MN camp this summer? Early august? Just for 3 nights or something? I would love that...

I will keep you company kitty
My thoughts are firmly on camping now. Have booked our pitch in France for august but need to get some weekends in before then.
1) no idea as I only drink red. Trial run with teeny tiny bit?
2) my dh is the same but does like it tidy.
3) meet up great but I'm at a wedding first weekend in August

Its because we are loverly here
It isn't good for my wallet though!
Yes, just read that huge thread in relationships which made my brain hurt... so nice to come here and think deltas? cobb? hmm... nothing more complicated than that!
I could do a trial run Norma, but that would mean being organised and buying huge sack of rose... and TBH I have never yet found winebox which was that nice that you want to drink the whole sack.

I'm here again too. First camp of the year booked for the June bank holiday. Just sorting the summer holidays out now and researching new gadgets. Thanks to a recommendation here I now have a reading light on way from Amazon

Lots of people I recognise <waves>
We are camping in May-I think I will need muchos thermals!
May can be lovely, as long as you are down south, seashells?
I need to book our summer sites. Cant decide... need that layout of tents round edge/ play area in the middle so we dont have to spend all our time ferrying DS (4) to the playpark.
I want one of those reading lights, 5, BUT I imagine it might light up my face spookily in the dark tent and scare DP/S.

I am currently researching thermal base layers. I neeeeeed to go camping badly, even just for one night. The rest of my family are giving me the
.
What are thermal base layers- for tent? For ones person?
Oh slubs, I have found better than thermal bottoms. New look are doing fleece lined leggings, so much thicker and warmer than thermal bottoms. I've been wearing them to work and it was minus 8 this morning

Ooooh onaroll us too, and on Thursday as well <high fives>. Dh and I are going to brave it in the pop up for one night at a site attached to a pub. Tent time is going to be for sleeping only.
Thrifty your legging sound really good. I have, as per usual, splashed out on the most expensive option so it seems and am currently wearing my new merino base layers. They are doing their job v nicely
Ooh kudos to you February campers. That's hardcore.
I think our first trip is likely to be late April/early May. Unless there's a freak heatwave before.
We are off on our main camping holiday on 3rd June. Two weeks in France.
Oooh spounds good Quenelle - whereabouts in France (my fave camping destination).

Why do you want to freeze your wine?
