Does anyone know of or stayed at any sites near the NEC?
I need a site near by, it will only be for a couple of nights during Crufts so want to try to avoid much of the chaos associated with getting to the NEC.

I've just booked at Larkhill Farm (Coventry but easy enough to get to NEC from there) for similar reasons (Festival of Quilts). We're in a tent but I think they take caravans too. It was cheap as well.

Think there's a caravan one at Kingsbury Water Park which isn't too far away...

Im in Midlands. Not tried Kingsbury water park yet, but friends have said it's great. Very near Drayton Manor too which is fabulous if you are bringing kids too. I ll be trying Kingsbury this year.

If you don t mind a drive of 20/25min and have kids who like a good playground -this site is excellent and not far from motorway to zoom down to crufts

Huge thanks lemon I have booked Kingsbury so fingers crossed it is as nice as it looks. I will look at yours too though as I'm always looking for nice sites for the kids.

lovely to have a reply -have fun, wherever you choose.

At pillaton this year you can book your plot before you arrive so you know excatly where you will be.

If you are not that far away -we love it here http://www.lickhillmanor.co.uk/display.php?showPage=tourers (and prop go every other weekend in summer for nice parks, boats, funfairs, safari parks, 5** loos and open air) it's hard to beat. If you book id go for rally field non and no elecrtic - you then just pick your spot depending if u want to be seluded or in comapny. Toilets / showers- fab.

let me know if u have been anywhere else close that is fab smile- cause i ll go try ...

I'm not from that neck of the woods I'm affraid lemon. I'm in Scotland so we do most of our touring up here but may be venturing down to more dog shows this year so will keep my eyes open for good sites smile Looking forward to Kingsbury though.

Kingsbury Water Park is lovely, it's one of my favourite places to camp.
