Playground B*tchiness (from parents)

Do you know what sometimes I have to laugh, the behaviour of some mums in the school playground. I've always been quite a loner, I'm chatty enough but I always - even at school - end up on my own because people don't take to me, esp women. For the last couple of weeks or so, some mums have been in a group and I always say hi because I'm that sort of person, friendly. Today I saw someone I thought I was friends with but seems she's got into this group, and, as ever made it obvious she didn't want to talk to me.

Am I missing something? Perhaps I've got a huge growth on my face I don't know about, or I smell? I just can never work out why some women behave like they do to me. It hurts a bit but in reality I couldn't care what they think, just like to know what their problem is.

To be honest I think you are either the sort of person that goes in a click and is easily led like your "friend". Or you are an independent woman who has her own mind........... That's what I tell myself when in your situation!

Thanks! Good point!
They're just idiots, I'm a bit peeved rather than upset over it. I just think why? Its a classic example of why I have more male friends than female. I don't do groups. Lads are so much less uptight.

I know when my dd was in primary school , there was a very definite clique of wonder mums lol ,all middle aged and know all types ! I was allowed to talk to them now and again if I were very lucky ! Their conversations were the most mind numbing with one particular queen bee mum telling the world how perfect her dc and dh were ! That was when she wasnt criticising some other poor unfortunate for either not being married or god forbid having dc to more than 1 man !
