I was sure, after the excitement of Blogfest, that this thread would have been started already but I didn't see it.

You can read here about what my 5 year old did when she got bored of watching tv. It's a lot more productive than what I tend to do if I get bored of telly (eat/go to bed/browse the internet on my 'phone)

I've just joined Mumsnet Bloggers network so am still feeling my way around (just after Blogfest--it sounds like it was brilliant). Anyway my latest post is 'Press 'Submit' hilarymcgrathraza.blogspot.fr/

CharChar, I remember those skills. I've lost them. Woke kids at 5 mins to schooltime this morning!!!

New to networking, been enjoying everyone else's post these past couple of days.

This week, it's the results of my Poppy Appeal fundraising and thank you blog post. Might not be a big deal compared to many, as the amount involved is small... but it made me very happy! xx

Hi everyone
Hope everyone has had a good week; looks like there are lots of exciting posts to read.
I've posted twice this week - one post was a response to an article I read which talked about whether Disney princesses are bad role models for girls, the other a five minute writing challenge based on the word tree! Wasn't easy, I tell you!

Sexism in the Cult of Disney? Princesses Bad Role Models for our Daughters? I don't think so!

I've finally finished knitting the models of me and my family for the 'about' page of my blog, and all I can say is.... NEVER AGAIN!

A blanket! Aran squares. Got pattern from Debbie Abrahams 'blankets and afghans to knit' (I already did one of her fab designs and it's my fav piece of work.) Am doing it as a present for my sister.

Just wanted to say how terrified and entertained I was at blogfest! Great speakers and panels - thanks for letting me come! My latest post is about York and how (child)-friendly it is. Why can't the town I live in be more like it?

I've written a few since Blogfest lol, really enjoying writing right now. I've been blogging for 5 years+ but only just joined Mumsnet. My latest post is linked on the front page of the Bloggers Network atm musingssahm.blogspot.co.uk/2013/11/feminism-i-prefer-realism.html
(I also have a Recipe blog as I have children with additional needs on exclusion diets but I need to add that with a different email address!)
