I'd like to print personalised thank you cards following the birth of my son, including some photos. Can anyone recommend a good website where I could do this? Or any other ideas that people have done? Obviously keeping the cost down would be ideal. Thanks.

When I was born, my parents got my sister (3 years old at the time) to draw the card that they then got printed to announce my birth. I thought it was really nice, I still have on in my photo album.

Friends of ours photographed their new born baby lying on a bed with a piece of paper saying 'Thank you!' on top of him so he looked like he was holding it.....photo of new addition and ty all in one. It sounds a bit twee, but was actually very cute.

We used a company called Coco Cards - they printed the birth announcement on the front and Thank You on the rear with space to write. We had one with 3 photos of DD on.

For DS we did his handprint with black paint, then had it photocopied onto blue paper, cut out a square and stuck it onto blank cards, then put a photo inside.

I ordered samples from loads of places but a lot were printed on thin paper - some people had given me quite expensive gifts so I wanted to send something which was good quality. I used www.CardsSelect.co.uk for my baby thank you cards.

I was delighted with them, as were my family and friends. I also was sent a free one in a sleeve to go in my daughter's keepsake box which was a lovely touch.

The photo was glossy, the card was thick and each card had a little pink satin bow on the front, just beautiful!
