I have been ordered instructed by lilred to announce the birth this morning of her little boy weighing in at a positively munchable 8lb 3oz. apparently he is far better looking than his dad already! love to red, her dh and her dd and of course the new arrival.

Oh Lissie sweetheart - I've just seen this, thank you. :-)
We are now home and I can't quite believe that Arthur Hugh will be a week old tomorrow.
As far as elective sections go it got pretty scary but I'll save the gory details for tomorrow. For now, I am going to get dh to put our lovely boy in his crib (he's long next to me in bed) and then try and get some sleep.
