Sophie Anna I think - saves the surname sounding like yerranna
nice name

I like Sophia a lot. But with Anna it doesn't flow - but then again - how often will people say the whole lot together?

all the time if Sophia is the first name and Anna is the surname!

It's not though is it? Unless I've read the OP wrong?

I read the OP as saying Sophie as first name and Anna is the surname because of her putting first name and surname next to each name
- OP, is that right or wrong?

or are they ideas for 2 middles names with first name before and surname after?
I'm confused now!
I assume these are the two middle names OP refers to, not the first names and surnames.
Is the family name Sophie or Sophia - or can it be either?
I think it has to be either Sophie Anna, or Anna Sophia. Sophia Anna doesn't flow.

Prefer Sophia to Sophie but if used with Anna I would use Sophie
i hope your first name and last name don't have two syllables

hello and sorry if I wasn't clear, the two middle names are to be Sofie or Sofia and Anna. Surname sounds a bit like Jones.
thanks for all your feedback, it's really helpful.

If they are both middle names, then it doesn't matter that much.
Anna Sophia sounds the best. I know a couple of girls called this.

Sophie Anna sounds better than Sophia Anna.
Or Anna Sophia.
Are you German, Kotek, or living in Germany?

When she is being a little monkey I think Sophie Anna flows much better when said in haste- Sophia Anna turns into a bit of a tongue twister.
Although I prefer Sophia alone, Sophie Anna is lovely!
Are you any closer to a decision?

Anna Sophia gets my vote.
What's your first name? (Not yours, the one for the baby

Agree, Anna Sophia would be even better than the other combinations.

thanks,
The Sophia Anna combination seems to get the thumbs down from most people.
so i think it will have to be either Sophie Anna or Anna Sophia.... I can agonise about these two options now for the next few days
any more comments appreciated.
I don't live in Germany but my husband has German heritage.

Thought there might be a German connection. I believe that Anna and Sophie/a are popular in Germany at the moment. Several of DD's kindergarten friends were either one or the other.
