Thoughts?

I like it, although usually my preference is for v conventional, traditional boys' names.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Love it! If I were having a boy that'd be on my list.

It's lovely - we considered it for DS2. Went for something similar in the end. Love old English / Anglo Saxon names. If we had a girl instead she would have been Elfreda.

Gorgeous. Very Walter Scott.

Sounds a bit like one of those self-inflating mats that you take camping imo. Sorry.

Horton · 19/06/2009 23:15

I don't really like it. It sounds a bit Harry Potter.

suwoo · 19/06/2009 23:17

How do you say it?

Al-ar-ic

or Aleric?

controlfreakythecontrolfreak · 19/06/2009 23:17

sounds like fly agaric (?sp).... poisonous fungi.

TabithaTwitchet · 20/06/2009 12:24

I'd pronounce it Alaric, stress on the "Al"
