Do you like it? Does is go OK with Harry (DS1)? Any middle name suggestions?
LCN

PS We know it's popular but it's the only one we both like & let's face it, Harry's hardly unique

I love Oscar. I love Harry too!

Personally, I like middle names to have a family connection... My DS's middle name is after my Grandad.

Goes very well. I know 2 Oscars. Both lovely boys, but my granny had a smelly old cat called Oscar and I'm afraid I can't get beyond that.

tummytickler · 10/06/2009 21:35

I think Harry and Oscar go beautifully together.
I agree with Haribo - do you have any family names you could use?

If not how about

Oscar Stanley
Oscar Gregory
Oscar Jude
Oscar Henry
Oscar Graham
Oscar James

The poor child will actually have 2 middle names and the 2nd is an (odd) family name so we'd rather just find a 1st middle name we like for aesthetic/poetic reasons!

Love it!

Haribosmummy · 10/06/2009 21:48

I like George as a middle name, and Henry.

Tommy · 10/06/2009 21:51

we have an Oscar
he has a family type name for a middle name but I think most manes go with it for a second name

angrypixie · 10/06/2009 22:06

Also considered
Oscar Gabe

I love it! It's on our shortlist too for ds due soon. I too like middle names with a family connection. Otherwise how about...

Oscar Ross
Oscar Reuben

cookie100 · 11/06/2009 21:12

Lovely name.

FSB · 19/06/2009 16:49

LOVE Oscar, it was our number one choice if DD was going to be a boy... we were going to go with Oscar Gabriel.

spicemonster · 19/06/2009 16:50

I adore Oscar. My DS was nearly, nearly called it but it had gone to someone else

MarshaBrady · 19/06/2009 16:55

Yes it is very cute, and goes very well with Harry.

NewtonMum · 20/06/2009 20:57

We have an Oscar Joseph.
I wanted Oscar Laszlo (my FIL's name) but was not allowed!
