Since DP gets to give her a Welsh one.

Doesn't have to be Mouri, preferably something pronouncable to the average Brit. It's a middle name so I don't care if it's unusual or weird!

So far her name is:
Molly Arianwen _ S...

I liked Arona but DP thinks it sounds too much like Aurora. This may take a while!

Tui. I think that's how you spell it. It's a NZ bird. Pronounced tooey.

Aroha - the goddess of love

Hinemoa - from one of the Maori legends

Ngaire - flaxen

Pania - sea maiden

Marama - light of the world

I know a Tui. She's very elderly, so it's been in circulation as a name for at least 90 years.

Sorry - I totally forgot I started this thread!!

I like the sound of Tui, it's simple but sounds nice. Will try it out on DP this afternoon.

I love Ngaio. Would be future dd's middle name if our choice for her first wasn't Nina

my DD's middle name is Tui (we are Kiwis)
is not particularly common here but there are a few about, both male and female

it is the name of beer but noone seems to think I've named her after that as it is a Maori name.
