Ie an Alice with a daughter called Alicia?
Or an Isabel with an Isabella?
Or Louise with a Louisa?
Or Susanne with a Susannah?
Just wondered if it a) sounds a bit vain, as if you're really naming them after yourself b) it gets really confusing when other people calls your name and you both respond.
I know an Elizabeth with an Eliza. When her dd2 arrived there were lots of jokes about whether she would call her Beth (she didn't).

Very common round here. I grew up in the same road as John and Young John, Yvonne and Young Yvonne, Bob and Bobby....

I knew a family who did this intentionally. Mother and Father - Andi and Isobel with children Angus and Iris.

I know a few...
X-Anne and Annie
Katherine and a Kate
Louise and Eloise
But I didn't spot the similarities in any of those names for ages. I don't think it is problematic.
