As a middle name only (so doesn't really count). Attempting to please gps by merging Evelyn with Ian. I quite like it for a girl, Evan for a boy, but I think it'll be received like
. I may go with Evan for either sex if MN counsel thinks it's too branding.

Does anyone ever remember baby's middle names and comment on it?
I think you might just pull it off if you pronounced it Eeveian rather than Ev-ian.
Evan for a boy is fine IMO
Actress called Evan Rachel Wood, yes?
Or Eve/Evie?
It's not like bottled water, it's the same as!
Why not Evelyn if it's a girl and Ian if it's a boy. Or have I missed something?

Yes Chippy, but she put the Rachel in so people would know she wasn't a boy
Not Evian. <frowny catsbumy face that lacks an emoticon>
You must really like these GPs. I didn't give grandparents a second thought when I named mine.
Evelyn if it's a girl and Ian if it's a boy?

Definitely not Evian, everyone will assume poor childs parents had a weird mineral water fetish... you're not always going to be standing right by to explain the names so people will just assume that unfortunately.
Evan is quite cute for a girl, esp as a middle name.

What about Evelina, it sort of combines Ian and Evelyn?

I like Evan more for a girl than I do for a boy tbh.
Or Ian for a boy and Evelyn for a girl?
Or something like Evia, Evea or Lynia would be better than Evian I think.
Evian is a no.

Good, that's sorted then
. Tbh, really didn't want any middle names but bloody DH started it with giving Mils name to DD as middle name - now with this one the pressure will be on from my bloody side. Don't like Evelyn or Ian, maybe Evie/ Nia though (convinced it's a girl!!)
Thanks for bringing me to my senses!!
