charmin?

Activia - a bit hard to stomach?

What about Glade, for a boy - wood you use it?

(Can you tell I'm at a loose end today?)

Actually, Charmin...Hmm Sounds like 'I wanted Charmaine but a bit different'

Cushelle sounds like a brand of loo roll. Perhaps Charmin was a fraudian slip?

Yes, really. Every single person asked the name of the new baby each time and then cringed. Many said 'What, like the air freshener?' in shocked disbelief.

I would have done too but was warned in time!

They are not babies now though, they must be late teens.

Haze and Breeze... I think Breeze got the better deal there! Imagine all the 'going round in a haze' jokes etc.

I asways think it's a pity Ariel is spoiled as a name, and also my fave Marigold, ruined by rubber.

Breeze was windy!

Brillo (M)-positive name, sounds upbeat.

Jif (F)- mininimalist chic

Elnett (M)- derived from OE fisherman

Persil (M or F) -means adventurous in OF

My cousin's dd is called Cashel. Bet she was non to impressed when they changed the loo roll name to Cushelle.

BuntyPenfold · 02/09/2010 13:51

Edgar I already bagged Jif for my next little girl - sorry.

How about Ajax - now there's a heroic name. I wonder if they still make it?

How about contraceptives:

Yasmin?

Cileste?

Dianette?

Probably not Durex though - bit futuristic sounding

I still like Cushelle for a baby! It's all cuddly-wuddly. And loo roll? Don't you mean kitchen roll?

Anyway, does it pass the PM test? "And here we have Prime Minister Cushelle Sweat, accompanying the Queen (now in her 110th year) to the state opening of Parliament, along with Opposition leader Florence Cameron..."

Yes, I think that works OK?

Cileste is lovely Smile

If you are going down the contraceptive route, Marvelon for a boy has quite nice ring to it...

Oooooo ''Lennor'', me likey, wonder if they'd sponsor.

I do like Marvelon! Like a cross between Marlon and Marvelous. Fab. Also sounds futuristic, which is no bad thing.

I'm fond of Lil-let.

Report
sockmonkey · 02/09/2010 15:43

Lil-let is fine for a baby, but not a grown up name (see PM test above)
