after months of not agreeing on any names we have come up with robyn for a girl. dp doesn't hate it so that constitutes agreement! However nobody else likes it that Imentioned it in passing to.

I love it.

Would definitely use it (or Robin for a boy) if I wasn't too old!

MrsJohnDeere · 28/08/2010 12:15

Love it!

theagedparent · 28/08/2010 12:22

Lovely

meadowlarks · 28/08/2010 12:27

I know two female Robyn/Robynnes and I do like it but I think it suits boys better.

tammytoby · 28/08/2010 12:36

Lovely and feminine. Not that common/popular either. Great choice!

Gorgeous name! I like it a lot. Think it's very pretty and classy.

CupcakesHay · 28/08/2010 16:03

I know a smashing 18 yo Robyn - who is just sooooooo nice and funny and pretty!

Love it.

PYT · 28/08/2010 16:10

Really like it

LetThereBeRock · 28/08/2010 16:45

Love it.

DinahRod · 28/08/2010 16:47

Love it. Was on our list.

sianyc18 · 28/08/2010 17:52

Thanks. I liked the fact it doesn't seem too popular but not too "out there" unusual either. DD1 getting to choose middle name she is going for Grace she thinks.

I love Robyn. I only know one adult (32) and one child (3) and think its a very sweet name.

spler · 29/08/2010 21:42

Love love it.
Know one. Very classy lady.

BuntyPenfold · 29/08/2010 23:49

Love it.

Debzk · 31/08/2010 15:41

I love it!! (but then my DD (6) is called Robyn so I am obviously going to say that :o )

strandedatsea · 31/08/2010 15:59

I love it too - my niece's name (also 6). Very pretty.

5DollarShake · 31/08/2010 16:09

Really nice - classic but not overly used.

minipie · 31/08/2010 16:17

I love it (wouldn't go with our surname sadly :( )

daisystone · 01/09/2010 13:53

It is very American. Personally I think it is awful - a bit trashy and Danielle Steele.

horatia · 01/09/2010 14:57

I don't like it I'm afraid.

sianyc18 · 02/09/2010 13:17

will have to wait and see if she looks like a robyn when she is born:).

I was so pleased to read daisy and horatia's postings. I think it is a dreadful name, lovely for a boy, but too Daniielle Steele.

JenaiMarrHePlaysGuitar · 02/09/2010 14:19

Noooo, not Danielle Steelesque at all!

I'd have used it for a girl. It is also an excellent boy's name.

The one woman Robyn I know is a delightful, witty, very high achiever, who happens also to be very pretty. She must be about 40. I also know a couple who are primary age.

ajandjjmum · 02/09/2010 14:20

DD was very very nearly Robyn - infact we have a couple of cards welcoming 'Robyn' to the world. We loved it.

balijay · 03/09/2010 13:27

Love this - probably going to use it as a middle name for dd due nov Smile
