Suggleing to find wide fabric for duvet covers. Can anyone help?

I want to make a duvet cover for my DD. However I'm at a compete loss of what type of fabric I should be buying and where from. I've looked and looked, but I'm really struggling to find anything wide enough. Lots of stuff online, however I have no idea if it's the 'right' type of fabric.

My local fabric shop doesn't have anything suitable and not hugely unhelpful.

Could anyone help me please?

Thank you

Single or double duvet? You should be looking for fabric sold as "sheeting" ideally. The big branches of Dunelm that sell fabric on the roll normally have masses of sheeting.

here for example

Ikea fabrics are quite good too and some come up to 150cm wide.
