ravelry - what do you think?

i love the pattern & yarn sections. i've gotten so many ideas and love browsing through projects.

but the forums drive me nuts with their US-centricity. not that i have anything against them, it's just that most of the threads are about US stores shops and yarns, and there's the assumption that the rest of the world either doesn't exist or doesn't use ravelry. but i'm drawn because i don't get to lurk on threads about anally retentive knitting habits anywhere else...

<is it poor etiquette to talk behind their back? should i link this thread to a thread there??? ooer>

Oh, I seeeee....

I was about to break the news to you that you probably shouldn't call your baby Ravelry as it's a really daft name.

snort - i'll bet you that somewhere in the world....

Honestly if you're feeling it a little US-centric then nosy about. There's LOADS of UK groups that make the forums a bit easier to relate to
