Can anyone steer me to a dress pattern website which would help me find something like this? In case the link does not work, it is the black, linen dress with belted middle. Or something similar.

Thank you.

There's nothing like you describe showing in the link, so not sure i can help, but sounds like you might mean an "Obi" belt ?? If so they are simple to make & you will find tutorials on YT etc & just find a pattern for the dress you want, then add belt

Thank you rockinhippy. I stupidly posted then realised that I forgot the main information which was a collection of linen dresses by a Japanese designer. blush

Like this dress but without the sleeves. Or similar.

This is the one that showed for me from your original link.

blush I feel like a hideous twit.

I have looked at Burda, Vogue etc patterns and could not find anything similar to the designs linked to. I was looking for something similar to either linked pictures but by a Japanese designer....here is the crunch, I cannot remember her name but she works mainly with linen fabric and creates lovely voluminous dresses and tops.

I was wondering if there was a link to Japanese dress patterns in a style close to either dress (although the first link is my favourite)? I have looked all over Google but have not found anything similar. I think Burda, Vogue etc a bit uninspiring and am looking for something different and touching on Lagenlook.

Please, take me outside and slap me with a fish, I am gibbering, it has been a day.

Thank you for these links, I have been drooling over them. I have some lovely medium linen and think that the elegance of those designs would work well with the linen.
