Knitted/crocheted quilt for Edgar - the yarn swap thread

I suggested on this thread that it might be nice if we could swap any leftovers that we might have from knitting/crocheting our squares, so that we can do stripes or other colourwork without having to buy 2 or more balls.

So, if you are looking for more yarn, or have some to offer, please post on this thread. If you want to take someone up on their offer, please sort it out via PM.

Please also remember that purplepidjin will need yarn for seaming, so any unclaimed yarn will go to her.

I would love to do a coloured square or two and will accept any leftovers, any colours. Maybe people could put any leftovers (more than a few yards) in with their squares and people like me could send an SAE to the sewer-up? Or please do PM me. Thanks.

I have just found some scraps of Cashmerino DK in my yarn box which is great because I can now do 3 colours with only buying two balls of yarn .

I bought Debbie Bliss Cashmerino online but the shades aren't quite what I thought - the silver and blue are very similar and the indigo blue is pretty but very dark.

If anyone has any odds and ends of other colours (a brighter blue, lilac, purple or green?) they wouldn't mind sharing to make the applique motifs a bit prettier and more of a contrast then please PM me... I'd be very grateful.

I've completed my (rather basic!) square. I have the following spare for those who want it. 534, 508, 525 in Rowan Cashsoft. They are the purple (3/4 ball), dark green (3/4 ball) and light blue (unused).

The purple and dark green have now gone. The light blue is still up for grabs.

I have a donated ball of lilac that I can swap...something dark or bright would contrast nicely. leeloo - maybe I could swap with your indigo?

Hello, anyone still swapping? I've done 2 squares using the purple and silvery grey rowan so those are now going spare.

We've been called again to do a blanket for Rindercella and I swapped my yarn.
I don't mind what colour.
