Treating PND/Birth Trauma with Reiki

Hiya - When my son was born 9 months ago he was seriously ill, in fact the first 3 months were incredibly traumatic and we didn't know if he was going to live or die. On top of this I sold my business, moved house and then my husband realised I wasn't right and was suffing from terrible PND (I stupidly kept it all hidden as I didn't want people thinking I was "weak") didn't bond and felt like I was some complete weirdo because I just wasn't that into the baby. Only now do I feel like I'm really coming out of it. During my pregnancy and post natal I looked at other therapies and discovered reiki which I feel helped me enormously. I am not saying that it's going to help or "cure" everyone but I just wanted to know if anyone else had tried it?
