AIBU?

To go and dump my microwave on my sisters doorstep?

Well obviously, I wouldn't dump it on her doorstep, it would get stolen, but AIBU to go and dump it her kitchen?

She has not had much luck lately. Some one's child scratched their company car, so they have had to pay the excess for a respray. The parent was not bothered and didn't offer to help.

Her living room floor started to fall through and all the joists needed replacing as they had rotted, as well as having to pay for new flooring. Her insurance company said that she wasn't covered for rot.

Her heating broke. Her insurance company said her boiler wasn't covered.

Her kitchen ceiling fell through after her water tank burst. This flooded her kitchen, broke her microwave, her oven and her grill. They are still trying to sort the insurance out on this.

She has had to take a job, even though she loves being a SAHM, to help pay for all this.

I have a brand new microwave oven, that has an oven and grill feature. I have offered her it time and time again, but when she gets stressed she turns into a martyr and won't accept help off anyone, no matter how hard it makes her life. Once she has calmed down, she always regrets this and wishes she had took the easy option. She is also worried that something happens to my microwave in her care. Which, in her opinion, would just give her something else to pay for.

So should I just take it to her anyway?

If it was my sister i'd give it her and not take no for an answer.

Yes, and make it clear that it is hers, and if it breaks you don't require it replacing (assuming that is the case), and don't take no for an answer!

Yes, do it. Elbow your way in, plonk it on the counter and plug it in

oooh yes I'm liking plug it in and put something in it so you have time to escape before she can give it back

Lol Bronze. I am thinking her DH doesn't even know I have offered her it. He is much more sensible than her at times. I might ring him and insist that he comes for the microwave. He drives and I don't. Plus she is less likely to shout at him than me
