I can't get to the books as they are in sleeping childs bedroom but there are numerous examples of her throwing a tantrum becase she isn't the STAR of the show every time. Poor Alice just listens and is so brain washed by bratgelina that she agrees she deserves to be the star. Every time Angelina ends up being the star anyway - usually because of someone elses misfortune - and they bow out gracefully not like Angelina would.
One I read today involved her sneaking out when ill to go to ballet class. Instead of getting in to hell when she came home she got big cuddles and sympathy that she was not the star of the show. (So I fully blame her mother for her brat like ways)
AIBU to think for once she deserves to be in the chorus and learn some team work?

I quite agree can't stand her and she always ends up star of the show.

YANBU. My friends ds used to watch this when I looked after her and it used to make me cringe to think that little girls would watch this and think it was OK to behave like that.
And that voice - its like fingernails down a blackboard to me.
So glad I've got sons now who hate anything remotely girly!

I've only ever seen one episode, on a compilation disc, but she was a right brat in that. So, YANBU!

YANBU she makes me want to vomit.
I made dh take dd to the show of Angelina Ballerina (a friend got tickets - and I think dd enjoyed it) as Angelina Wankelina + ballet + giant mouse puppets would make me want to gouge out my own eyes.

Oh jesus that sounds awful. Shes a bit podgey to be a ballerina anyway, and that tail gets in the way. I think the rest of the ballet class need to grow some furry mouse balls and tell her some home truths

This is very disappointing. I was all set to roll up my sleeves and take a swipe at AJ for adopting so many million children and for not eating and for robbing jen's man and ....

couldn't agree more, giraffes. i was given a compendium containing the one where her wee sister was born just in time for dd2 turning up, so thought it would be perfect... cue Angelina feeling put oot and in response to grandparents visiting new baby she tears up her room and smashes the furniture.
attention all back on angelina, she is smothered with cuddles.
plus, she's horrible to her wee cousin and keeps saying she hates boys. dd behaves appallingly when she's been reading angelina, so dh has put them up on the high bookshelf.
