Due to skintness and DH now out of a job I have upped my hours.
I. Am. Knackered.
I know I am U but I like having 3 days off a week. I am simply too lazy and too feeble to work hard.

Is DH doing all the house stuff? Or are you doing as much as before?
YANBU
Have you bought a lottery ticket?
How's your DH at handling not having a job?
Does he take the lions share of jobs round the house?
What's the chances of him getting something else soon?
I don't often hand them out, but you sound like you could do with one

In view of your 2nd post I have to say you're being damn reasonable about this and should probably get a new year gong for your sacrifices
I recommend ditching the whole job immediately for your sanity and just hoping for finances to right themselves
Life's too short and all that....

I felt the same when DH was made redundant and I had to go full time. You have my sympathies.
Ooh, good idea catgirl, I've not done the lottery in ages.
If I win big I'll let you have a cut

And what is the flaming point of having a househusband if he doesn't put the blasted
in the fridge until half past 5?
Ooh thanks AgentZigZag

If I LTBd who would cook for me?
I had to do that when DP was made redundant.
Fecking hard when you're not used to it.

It will take time to adjust need to train him better to have the wine in the fridge
I've always worked f/t, but I still say YANBU. It's tough, and it will take you months to adjust. Be kind to yourself and give yourself time.
And the thing with the wine is Not On.

Seriously - you didn't do any housework or cooking when you worked for 2 days a week?
TaggieCampbellBlack
Sat 09-Feb-13 19:38:19
I worked 4 days a week. As did DH. Now up to 5.
But no. No housework or cooking. I'm not cut out for domesticity.
It's very overrated, in fact one of the reasons I went back full time.

Oh, I see - I forgot about the 2 days at the weekend. I expect you did the other things round the house, like the DIY and gardening then.
