We live in Malaysia and in common with many equatorial countries, pale/white is best.
When we first moved here, we were in the chemist and she showed me a tube of cream to make ones nipples (and presumably areola) pink in line with white western women's.
This morning, she knew I was going to the supermarket and asked me to get her a tube.
She'll be disappointed.

anyway, it's a shame your DD thinks she needs this stuff- how old is she? (i'm thinking 12/13 ish?)

and it's awful a whole area of people (quite a significant amount) think this stuff is necessary (they must do, otherwise there wouldn't be a market for it) but then, i remember reading somewhere about asian women getting eye surgery to "westernise" the shape.

IMO, she didn't want to be left out of the special shop I did this morning. I was supposed to buy DH a work shirt and the fish some new gravel <rock 'n' roll>
DHs face was a picture when she asked for it.
I agree that it's tragic, unfortunately there is a call for it, along with another product that's called something like 'return your fanny to virginal state'.

Call me obtuse but the vast majority of "white western" women's areolas are brown. I know that firstly because I have tits and secondly as a breast cancer nurse specialist I spent my life looking at them (different job now).
Even if they start life pale your first pregnancy puts paid to that.

Mine are pink, but if they were brown it wouldn't concern me.

Fascinates me that other countries are desperate to be pale and we're desperate to be orange tanned.

Not sure TBH. The majority of western models here are pale blondes. I assume that they have pink nips and labia.

A friend has gained a sort of inverted Flintstones beard, not realising all after shave balm here has whitening in!

YANBU don't buy her it. Most womens nipples are brown in the west. Mabey f te lady is extremely pale she might have pink nipples

I'm shocked most Western women's are brown. Mine are pink, even after 2 dcs and I thought everybody's were too.

Mine are pink. I always thought I was in the minority and wanted them to go brown as teen.

I live in Qatar and I see some shocking thing in chemists. Willy stretchers, fanny shrinkers, tit volumisers, and whiteners for everything.

Mine are brown although I am dark skinned.

Pale skinned daughter´s are pink.

I bought skin whitener thinking it was suntan lotion in Dubai. That was effective!

Mine are pinky brown too and I've got quite olive skin.
