I am feeling ruthless today.

You could add a three strikes and you're out completely rule.

Honestly? Who cares? It's not like it makes any difference at all.

I think anyone who posts that "this is not an AIBU" should be banned for not having a life.

but there is chat, which gets deleted after a while, don't think aibu does.

and it is sort of weird that people use aibu as a chat or even worse really hard hitting discussions about child abuse or whatever do not belong in the frivolous aibu

YABU.

Personally I think the Thread Police should get a lifetime ban, no "three strikes" rule.

Actually I agree.
Saying "I've posted here as there is more traffic" is attention seeking. Especially when they complain that all they want is help/ advice.

If they post on the right topic, they get relevant answers. Or if they post in chat they get measured responses.

I love having something to be annoyed about. Grin

I just can't see what the problem is. It makes no difference to me what topic someone has posted in and affects me not one little bit.

Soupy, I get the arse when people complain about the response they get. It makes go all Hmm in RL

Like when someone goes

"Oh I knew if I posted in here I'd get this reaction. You are all horrible and wrong"

Are we meant to admire their clairvoyance skills?

i think for me it's that i know alot of posters have hidden aibu so some more interesting threads get missed

YANBU.

If I'm feeling a bit of a grumpy pants I come into AIBU to read about other people being a bit grumpy pants. Misery loves company. If it's non AIBU MNHQ will move them if you report it Mardy didn't ask them to move a thread to chat the other day oh no not me .

I am a cantankerous old bitch today thought due to quitting smoking. Eating a family sized trifle hasn't helped. I will be spending most of the day in AIBU.

Report
MardyBra · 05/01/2013 12:51

Yes I sometimes ask them to move threads, but then I think I'm being a pain in the arse. (Moi?)

YABU - most people post in AIBU because you get more responses there and more people see the thread. In much the same way people post sensitive topics in chat so they disappear eventually.
