to ask if you can search your bank statements online ?

I'm trying to search what payments I've made to a particular company in the last couple of years. I was expecting to be able to just search on their name; but not so, just have to trawl back month by month.hmm

I'm with HSBC .
Do you bank with someone who offers online statement search ?

HSBC lets you download the PDF file. Just do a word search in the files (one by one alas). Usually it's on the toolbar at the top or press CTRL+F to get the dialogue box up. Or maybe the new-fandangled search facility in Windows 7 might find it for you?
