GilmoursPillow · 30/11/2012 15:56

It's 8pm here, so let's go with that. Wine

MsTimTam · 30/11/2012 15:56

YANBU. As soon as dd1's friend is picked up at 4:30 and dh home at 5, I'll be opening a bottle.
Shite week - found out on Wed my job is at risk so wine needed in large quantities tonight Hmm

Janeatthebarre · 30/11/2012 15:56

Its getting dark outside so it's okay. Really, if the clocks hadn't gone back in October it would be 5 o'clock which is a very civilised time for a few glasses of wine little aperitif.

Lovely! just don't finish the whole bottle by yourself before dp gets home. Grin

AppleOgies · 30/11/2012 15:59

I'm thinking of opening my Christmas Baileys!?!

Enjoy your wine, it's Friday!

Envy

You are not being unreasonable. I cannot wait for 7pm when kids are in bed. I am going to sit on the couch with my wine and refuse to move for the rest of the night.

EverythingsDozy · 30/11/2012 16:00

You have a duty to your husband to ensure the sealed, untampered with bottle of wine isn't poison. If I had a bottle of wine here and didn't have to drive, I would have one too so you didn't feel so bad.

bedmonster · 30/11/2012 16:01

Yes, very good points raised by all. Good luck with the job stuff timtam, cheers Wine

When my kids were young my best mate and i always called Friday wineday. We would meet up at hers after school, crack open the wine and when the hubbies were on there way home they would pick up a takeaway and join us. Oh happy days. Now said kids are out drinking the wine all by themselves and i find myself stuck in the house with a puppy!!!!

MsTimTam · 30/11/2012 16:10

Thank you, am sure a few glasses of wine will make it all betterWineGrin

bedmonster · 30/11/2012 16:11

littlewhitebag that sounds like a lovely arrangement.
Well I've poured myself one now and friends have called to ask if dds can stay the night, might start on the fizzy!!
