Its getting dark outside so it's okay. Really, if the clocks hadn't gone back in October it would be 5 o'clock which is a very civilised time for a few glasses of wine little aperitif.

You are not being unreasonable. I cannot wait for 7pm when kids are in bed. I am going to sit on the couch with my wine and refuse to move for the rest of the night.

You have a duty to your husband to ensure the sealed, untampered with bottle of wine isn't poison. If I had a bottle of wine here and didn't have to drive, I would have one too so you didn't feel so bad.

Yes, very good points raised by all. Good luck with the job stuff timtam, cheers wine

When my kids were young my best mate and i always called Friday wineday. We would meet up at hers after school, crack open the wine and when the hubbies were on there way home they would pick up a takeaway and join us. Oh happy days. Now said kids are out drinking the wine all by themselves and i find myself stuck in the house with a puppy!!!!

MsTimTam Fri 30-Nov-12 16:10:57

Thank you, am sure a few glasses of wine will make it all betterwinegrin

bedmonster Fri 30-Nov-12 16:11:28

littlewhitebag that sounds like a lovely arrangement.
Well I've poured myself one now and friends have called to ask if dds can stay the night, might start on the fizzy!!

SugaricePlumFairy Fri 30-Nov-12 16:12:43
