I can't usually abide the smell or taste of cinnamon or ginger, but as soon as it gets cold I can't get enough of the stuff! Cinnamon on my porridge, ginger cake (which I usually loathe), chai tea, I even went out of my way specifically to buy Waitrose's cinnamon cake soap the other day.
It's so warming and comforting and just, well, Christmassy.

YANBU
I was thinking that the other day when I walked down the high street and every café had pictures of stuff covered in cinnamon powder.

Mmmmm now I'm thinking of cinnamon toast, as students that was our after pub snack of choice.
Its very good in coffee, when I drink coffee, which is seldom, I always get a cinnamon one .
I really like cinnamon though but prefer it in savory stuff not sweet.

Yanbu. It's vile.
And the airfresheners. Cinnamon is not the official smell of Christmas. Bleurgh.
Baileys is the official smell of christmas.
What the hell is a Cinnamon Waffle Maker, why is it different ?
LondonElf it does NOT belong in
rice, drinks, tagines, apple pies, curry, cookies, bolognese, cakes, roast potatoes. That is all manner of wrong!
< cringes at the thought >
Mulled Wine is not on the same level though, Mulled Wine is gorgeous.
YANBU. A little cinnamon is fine, cinnamon in large quantites is wrong.
Cinnamon - mmmmmmmmmmmmm
In fairness I would put it on everything. I love it so in my opinion YABU.

YANBU despite its insulin receptivity increasing properties.

YABU. Cinnamon is amazing and should be in everything, all the time - rice, drinks, tagines, apple pies, curry, cookies, bolognese, cakes, roast potatoes. Also means that DP doesn't steal my food, he hates the stuff, weirdo.

I love cinnamon but Yanbu but it does not need to go into every biscuit and drink at this time of year.
It tastes best in a chilli or tagine.
It can help reduce blood sugar levels, I eat quite a lot if it as I'm diabetic. It's yummy!
I love cinnamon. I would have it all year round. It is lovely and spicy and yes, festive.
but you should have the choice not to have it, as some people hate it.
I hate ginger, I would not want a ginger shot in my drink.
It is a preserver tho. It helps cakes and biscuits last longer. I hope the health properties work the same in me. I quite like the idea of lasting longer

YABU. Cinnamon IS Christmas. It's also deliciously yummy.
I'm with you. I can't stand cinnamon.
It doesn't belong in my hot chocolate, I just want a regular hot chocolate, it doesn't belong in toasted teacakes and no I don't want a Ginger Spice Cinnamon blah blah loaf cake either, just give me lemon drizzle
