MrsBucketxx Mon 26-Nov-12 11:46:33

hmm

You could try using apostrophes here and there as well Mrs Rhett

Pagwatch Mon 26-Nov-12 11:48:46

I haven't actually rtft.
I just stalk Maryz

Maryz Mon 26-Nov-12 11:49:07

Wouldn't it be fun to post this entire thread in Pedants' Corner, and get them to correct the grammar and spelling throughout.

It would keep the Pendants happy for years grin.

My fingers have been getting itchy just reading it - I feel like I do when I'm looking at dd's Facebook page. It upsets me.

Maryz Mon 26-Nov-12 11:49:35

[arf] at Paggy - you bored this morning or what?

FanjoForTheMammaries Mon 26-Nov-12 11:54:33

Mary, a tad snobby is a bit understating it, have never seen such snobby patronising guff in my life as there is on this thread grin

Mrs rhett, i get ya, i was sort of joking.

But do have a nice cup of brew and relax grin

FanjoForTheMammaries Mon 26-Nov-12 11:57:12

"OP I really mean this kindly but you should really try to better yourself or people will think poor Tyson is a chav"

Wtaf. That sort of thing

Pagwatch Mon 26-Nov-12 11:58:51

Oh yes Maryz grin

Well I thought it was a scummy thing to say.

MrsBucket, wouldn't you rather aspire to be nice? I know I wasn't nice to you in my post but I was reacting to you being so horrible to the op. Being a snob is surely not a good thing to try to be?

Maryz and Pag, I did say she sounds like a stuck up B, (I don't want this post deleted) I thought maybe that would be enough! Maybe not though. grin

I often find the 'lower classes' (for want of a better phrase) are some of the nicest people around who will help anyone who needs it, whereas some of these 'snobs' wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire.

Pagwatch Mon 26-Nov-12 12:04:48

God, how lovely would that be - if people aspired to be nice.

I know Fanjo, it was more in response to MrsBucket wanting to keep her dc away from the op and her kids. I'd much rather my dc be around down to earth people, even if they have faults here and there. I would hate for my dds to catch 'snob' grin

Maryz Mon 26-Nov-12 12:07:12

Don't be ridiculous Pag. Mumsnet would be very Netmums like boring.

seeker Mon 26-Nov-12 12:09:53

The only snobby person on here is whoever created the OP. As I have repeatedly said, snide, unpleasant, Ricky Gervaise type "humour"

Goodness me, I have only just bothered to open this thread.

I have guests arrriving and don't have time to read it all now.

Is it worth saving for browsing later with a glass of wine?

TIA

Maryz Mon 26-Nov-12 12:55:11

No, not really grin

FanjoForTheMammaries Mon 26-Nov-12 13:40:38

Seeker yes I totally agree

GetorfsaMotherfuckingMorrisMan Mon 26-Nov-12 15:37:33

I have just come on here to say ' I agree with...' And I have forgotten her name and she is on the previous page. Something like aristotle. Anyway, I agree - this thread has been a disgrace. And I am a bitchy miserable heathen at the best of times. Some people really like to give themselves airs.

I haven't a clue if it is real or not - I thought it was real at first but the whole tyson, discusting, hairdresser thing seems a bit contrived. But what if she is real? What kind of impression will she have formed of mumsnet?

Perhaps I have just gort a sense of humour bypass but this is really juvenile shit.

baskingseals Mon 26-Nov-12 16:42:48

agree with getorf. i read the first couple of pages and then my toes started curling - it's like a crowd of vultures with some fresh meat. horrible.

sorry op.
