AIBU?

To wish that these parents would keep their problems out of school?

Our school was 'locked down' today as a parent turned up at the gates with armed police and official types trying to forcefully remove a child. They managed to get in the gate and teachers were posted at all the doors to ensure they didn't get in the building. It was lunch time and there were students everywhere. That poor child. It was awful - lots of screaming and shouting.

Bloody Hell! Sounds terrifying for all involved! Where are you then, where these things happen?

Wouldn't armed police and official types seem to indicate they had the relevant "paperwork" or whatever they need to be supposed to be collecting the child though? Confused it all sounds very volatile! poor child must have been so upset :(

Pom unfortunately paperwork can be very easily obtained here......I think the trouble was because one parent from here and the other (who the child lives with) is an expat.

Tis Eastern Europe....

Such a heavyhanded way of going about things though!

How dreadful, I'm surprised they didn't manage to get in though with all the armed police? Are all the teachers packing?
