Sting in Tail of Times Children's Poetry Competition

AIBU to object to The Times' policy of charging £2 to view their poetry competition site - which includes the shortlisted poems. To me this destroys all the goodwill their brand creates by organising the competition in the first place. The charge might well have been in the fine print when I registered DD's masterpiece, in which case I missed it. Even so... am I the only one who thinks that this is incredibly crass?

In fact you can access the shortlist but you can't read the poems!

I agree with you. Do you have to pay view Times online though? Is it a continuation of that, hard-nosed though it is... Bit like when your kids are in a school production, then you have to pay to see them, but the cause not as worthy.
