Anyone tried Proceli gf/wf food?

Just had new edition of Coeliac mag 'crossed grain' and in it is advertised new food available on prescription made by 'proceli' including iced bread buns - surely these aren't available on prescription?

Just wondered if anyone had tried this stuff and if it was any good/better than anything else available.

Their hamburger buns are fantastic - if you follow the instructions to microwave them before toasting, they are soft and tasty. The croissants and pain au chocolat are good too.

No idea as to whats on prescription as I can't be faffed with it these days.

Thanks cmotdibbler, do you get yours via the pharmacy though if not on prescription or are they stocked locally?

DS would be impressed if I could get him a burger bun!

I've bought Proceli in Tescos and Waitrose in the past, and certainly the big Waitrose near us had them the other week.

Or you could buy online from Johnsons

Oo will look online, we are in Cornwall so don't even have a waitrose (I am so deprived lol). I know tesco don't stock them, I look at their gf/wf stuff enough!

Will check out Johnsons. Thank you.

When we moved to our current area, a selling point for me was the huge Waitrose within driving range ! Fab Free from section there too, but blardy Ocado have a naff range so I have to fill the freezer with pitta breads when I remember about them.

Johnsons are great - actually run by a coeliac who only stocks stuff that tastes good - and can I recommend the brazilian cheese bread mix ? It makes an amazing pizza base, that my non GF husband raves about.
