Today's supermarket shortages (First world problem alert)

Had to do a 'big shop' this evening, fridge is almost empty and we have friends coming over tomorrow. There were a few random items which were either unavailable or almost out of stock. My #FWP are listed as follows:
Limes - none available
Slimline tonic - N/A
Macon Village- N/A
Ketchup - N/A
Judes individual ice creams - N/A
Udon noodles - one pack remaining.

My weekend is ruined I tell you, quite ruined. I shall have to make do with Gavi and light tonic. Huh.

I couldn't get the olive oil mayonnaise I like or any truffle pesto. Yes, I am that much of a knob.

I did rediscover Iceland and find they sell Bounty ice creams so things are looking up.

Tonic was on short supply where I work all day today. And no lemonade at all! Felt rather sorry for the people who were getting pimms but no lemonade…

Also not much bottled water.

There was only one single cinnamon and gooseberry yoghurt left on the shelf - and it was past it's expiry date.

Iceland have Bounty Ice creams?!!!! @RubyFakeLips you have no idea how much you have cheered me up, peri menopause has been kicking my arse this week, Bounty ice creams may just about save me!

All my shopping order came today inc ketchup and slimline tonic.
Had to pop in today to Waitrose to get cat food which I’d forgotten to put on order and there were no fresh scallops only ones in a packet!!!

Where is all the sparkling water gone?

My Tesco delivery yesterday didn’t deliver my tin of red bull (free with code, I never drink the stuff) 😳. I was most upset 🤪😆.

Same! My local Tesco has been sold out for weeks. I had to buy sparkling water from M&S instead.

@Anotherdayanothernight very good question. I had to get M&S own brand the other day rather than San Pellegrino. Brutal.

I got my home delivery this morning and the only meat we got was one pack of chicken breasts, all the other meat I ordered was unavailable so I've got burger buns and no burgers, taco kit and no mince, stuffing and veg and no chicken for Sunday. I'm feeding 2 adults and 2 teens, it will be interesting!

They also couldn't find a suitable sub for my roll on deodorant!

I can't find Anchovies! Because if this my anchovy craving appears to be increasing exponentially.

Coriander is thin on the ground here. I use tonnes of the stuff. Had to make do with a 1/2 dead plant the other day.

I’ve heard (from someone who has a friend working in a bottling plant) that there is a shortage of the chemicals they use to sterilise stuff. The workers keep getting sent home apparently.

I was able to get blood orange and dark chocolate choc ices in Waitrose today. Don't know what all the fuss is about.

@evenflo sorry, DS has just corrected me it wasn’t Iceland it’s called ‘Food Warehouse by Iceland’ and is apparently owned by Iceland. I bought six boxes

Bloody good question. I'm trying to wean myself off diet coke with sparkling water and cordial. My plan is being scuppered cos there's no sodding SW.

M&S but you'll have to slum it with tinned.

The Lidl I went in yesterday evening looked like a plague of locusts had ravaged through it. I couldn't get full fat plain Greek yogurt FFS. But they did have blood orange ice lollies as part of Spanish week.

I stock up on tonic (Waitrose Essential, full fat in cans) because I couldn't face putting artificial sweeteners in my gin.
