This is the first year the dc have written a letter to santa, is there anywhere they can send them to get a reply?

Yes there is - I am sure the post office do one. I think that if it is addressed to Santa and put in a post box (with a stamp I assume) it will get there - but I believe there is a preferred address.

There is a royal mail adress - maybe on their website - cant remember, but you get afree reply from there with some activities to do.

I am going to do the kids reply this year and post it back to us once they are in bed.

They are only 3 and 4 and think Santa lives in our town anyway as there is a guy who dreese up as santa (very very good) and covers his whole house and garden in lights and things to make a wonderland. You can go in and donate money for a childrens' charity.

Santa will respond to as many letters as possible, in between getting the sleigh ready for the long journey on Christmas Eve.

Surely they have to go in the fire and thence magically up the chimney, since that is where FC comes down . . . That's where dd's have always gone, anyway (making sure I get a good peek first).

I saw a service where santa would write back a personalised letter with lots of your childs details. It cost £5. I thought that I might write just as easily to my own children for the price of a stamp.

Today the letter might say "stop hitting your sister or I am crossing you off my list"

I have an electric fire, it actually has DS2s letter to santa under it now, ready for the elf to collect tonight. He will get his reply in the morning and the little elf will come to stay to make sure ds is being good.

He is the last to believe Ill have to drag this out as long as possible.

I like to keep their letters for years to come. DD is 13 and has seen some of her old letters which she remembers writing and brings back lovely memories.

I send them into the bin and write the reply myself.

I had no idea you could send them anywhere else, and DD is 8.

i let dcs post them in post box but order replies from ebay,(there are loads of people who advertise). the royal mail did reply to ours last year, but in june.you can also use tesco clubcard vouchers but these are more expensive than ebay.
